			:: THE CAMP ::
			For over 40 years, Camp Garagona has been offering vacation time to people with a mild or moderate intellectual disability. We host adults and children, French or English. Our campers are loyal to us, some of them coming to Garagona since it first opened in 1969. The camp’s activities have migrated towards the arts in 2003: plastic arts, theatre, and music are now an integral part of our programming and this is how we stand out. In 2005 the camp was nominated for two awards offered by the Association des camps du Québec (ACQ): “Coup de coeur des consultants 2005” and “Excellence 2005-2006 pour la programmation”.

But the arts do not constitute our whole programming. At Garagona, we keep busy! Our users are fond of the swimming activities which are a welcomed refresher in hot weather! Safe and accessible walking trails set up in our woods bring the campers closer to nature.

Camp fires, giant games, special activities such as outdoor concerts or dance shows, and the variety show at the end of camp complete our calendar, all in a spirit of relaxation and fun, where taking part is an accomplishment in itself!

Our camp is accredited by the ACQ and was awarded three stars by the Corporation de l’industrie touristique du Québec (CITQ).

Nominated for the “Coup de coeur des consultants 2006” and “Excellence 2005-2006 pour la programmation” awarded by the Association des camps du Québec.

:: TO REGISTER ::

To register at Camp Garagona, you have to fill out the forms below. The Information Sheet contains everything you need to know in order to fill the forms and send them to us. It is important to print out the forms, fill them, and send them in their consecutive order. You must include a deposit with your registration and a picture of your camper. The “Calendar for 2012” details the cost and schedule of the planned sessions available this year. If it is a first registration, we will call you to evaluate your camper and make sure our camp will suit his or her needs.
